Mohsity Pugmill is a professional, offline-first design suite built for ceramic process engineers and plant managers — covering raw batch formulation, kiln firing curve simulation, and stress-strain mapping for the safe cutting of large-format porcelain slabs.
Ramp / hold / cool staging with quartz-inversion guarding — see the live simulator below.
Every module runs locally, works with your existing material library, and is designed to survive a plant floor with no network connection.
Build raw batches from clay, feldspar, silica, kaolin and flux inventories with live percentage balancing, LOI-adjusted totals, and side-by-side recipe versioning for body and glaze formulas.
Model ramp, soak and cooling stages against target cones, with automatic flagging of critical dwell zones such as quartz and cristobalite inversion points before you commit a kiln load.
Overlay thermal-gradient and residual-stress maps on large-format porcelain slab geometry to plan cut paths that avoid propagation lines and minimize breakage during sizing and calibration.
Track formulations, firing schedules, and cutting plans by production line and plant, with revision history so engineers can audit exactly what changed between two press or kiln runs.
Estimate thermal shock exposure across a firing cycle using body-specific expansion coefficients, helping engineers set safe ramp and cooling ceilings for a given slab thickness and format.
No cloud dependency, no login wall. Formulations and simulations stay on the engineer's machine — built for plants where proprietary bodies and glaze chemistry cannot leave the premises.
Adjust ramp rate, peak hold and cooling rate. The plot updates in real time and flags unsafe cooling through the 573°C quartz-inversion band — the zone most responsible for dunting in large-format porcelain.
🏺Mohsity Pugmill was built by a small team of process engineers and software developers who spent years on ceramic plant floors, watching good batches fail at the kiln and good slabs crack at the saw for reasons that could have been caught on a screen first.
🔥Our mission is to put rigorous, physics-grounded planning tools directly into the hands of the people who run the kilns and sign off on the cuts — without asking them to trust a cloud service with formulations that took decades to develop.
📐The app gives ceramic process engineers and plant managers a single offline workspace to formulate raw batches by percentage, simulate full firing regimes stage by stage, and map thermal stress across large-format porcelain slabs before a single cut is made.
🏭 Precision before the fire. Confidence after the cut.
Mohsity Pugmill collects no personal information, plant data, batch formulations, firing profiles, or stress-strain results of any kind. The application does not include account creation, sign-in, telemetry pings, or usage logging of any form.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, aggregated, profiled, or monetized. We do not build usage statistics from your sessions and we do not know how, or how often, you use the application.
All batch recipes, kiln firing curves, plant records, and slab stress-strain maps are stored exclusively on the local device running the application. No project data is transmitted to any server, database, or cloud environment operated by us or any third party — a deliberate design choice for engineers handling proprietary body and glaze chemistry.
Mohsity Pugmill does not embed analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or tracking pixels of any kind. The application has no network dependency for its core engineering functions.
Because your formulations and simulation files never transit a network, they are not exposed to interception, remote breach, or server-side compromise through use of this application. Protecting the files on your own device and backup media remains your responsibility.
Mohsity Pugmill is a professional engineering tool designed for ceramic process engineers and plant managers and is not directed at children. In any case, no personal data is collected from any user, of any age, at any time.
There are no accounts to manage and no remote records to request or erase. All of your project data resides in files you control; removing the application and its local data folder removes everything associated with your use of it.
If this policy is ever updated, the revised version will be included with the application release notes and the Effective Date above will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
